The headline is a bit misleading – Pirate Party Wins EU Parliment Seat – isn’t really about Pirates in Parliament:
Sweden’s Pirate Party won a seat in the European Union Parliament, swept in Sunday amid outrage over a new copyright law and the convictions of the four founders of The Pirate Bay.
Too bad. Can you imagine what it would be like to have a group of pirates in the government? With eye patches and parrots?
